Intraosseous Injury Techniques and Prevention in Basketball Players.

Techniques on intraosseous injuries are very effective in sports trauma but even more so for prevention.

In basketball among the different techniques we can use to help our athletes there is one that is the one I illustrated in this video that helps players so much to feel, as they say, “lighter legs” and “unload their ankles.”

It consists of improving the elasticity of the distal part of the tibia, which is the one that bears the greatest load and tends to increase in density over time. The underlying peculiarity of bone tissue is that, as athletes easily realize, it changes in real time and allows the benefits to be reaped immediately.

A more elastic fabric obviously allows for better cushioning of the additional loads that sporting commitments will require
