The course will focus on illustrating a pivotal topic in Osteopathy: intraosseous injuries, those injuries within a part of a bone, whether long, short or flat, in most cases produced by direct trauma that does not, however, generate an actual fracture. Also useful-but not only-in sports trauma and injury recovery, intraosseous techniques start by listening to bone density and identifying the injury, proceeding by giving the bone a foothold so that it can activate those regenerative processes it has in memory.
The course will consist of a theoretical part aimed at explaining intraosseous injuries, possible multifactorial causes broken down generically into metabolic and mechanical causes, the literature on the subject, and a part totally focused on intraosseous techniques.
