WHEREAS, as I always stress, there is never a single cause but a series of concurrences, I share the case of Antonio: a 32-year-old basketball player who came to the office because of sciatica that had stopped his sports activity which was preceded by a gastrocnemius tear.
The test performed immediately revealed that the boy had an obvious intraosseous injury to the tibia, which had been the main concomitant of the gastrocnemius injury and only consequently had generated sciatica.
The explanation of how to do the evaluation can be found within the book “Intraosseous Injuries.”
