I had a 45 year old patient come to me with long standing joint pain in his sn knee and sn hip and from the history as I always do I asked if he had had any surgeries and he told me that he had had a surgery when he was 9 years old where he had a femur fracture but longitudinally and that they had put a plate on him which was later removed.

I wondered how such a patient could have been treated regardless of the knowledge of intraosseous lesions
